Born and raised in Washington, DC, Tommesha's journey began with a profound interest in sociology and a commitment to supporting marginalized communities.
Tommesha's academic path led her to Trinity University DC, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice. Her desire to effect systemic change and support underserved youth propelled her to pursue a Master's degree in Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from the same institution. Throughout her academic and professional journey, Tommesha has been driven by a mission to dismantle educational barriers and create generational opportunities for marginalized youth.
Her work focuses on providing equitable educational opportunities for underserved youth, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to compete with their peers. Tommesha's efforts are deeply rooted in her belief that education is a powerful tool for social change and community rebuilding. She is dedicated to creating pathways for these young individuals, empowering them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
